It’s always wonderful to see your organisation featured in the media. It fills you with a sense of pride, knowing that the work you do is newsworthy.
But when you know that the more people who hear about your work, the more people are likely to get the help they need (or the help their children need), that magazine article isn’t just a “nice-to-have”. It’s vital in spreading the word.
This month, Karen was interviewed by Fairlady about the story behind STEPS – why she started it and how STEPS goes about helping children in Africa born with clubfoot.
“I want every child to go to a clinic early enough to be helped,” Karen says.
